Organ Recital featuring CUMC organist, Josh Ring

May 11 at 7:00 pm in the CUMC Sanctuary.

Benefit Recital in support of the Appalachian Service Project

Composer, music educator, and multi-instrumentalist Josh Ring is currently a graduate student at the University of Iowa. Josh is a recipient of a Rahn and Frawley Organ Fellowship from the UI School of Music. Serving as the organist at the Coralville United Methodist Church, he is also an active performer, accompanist, and educator in the Iowa City area. As a recitalist, Josh Ring is an avid supporter of the Appalachian Service Project (ASP), raising money with his music and performances to support the ASP mission: to make homes warmer, safer, drier.

There is no charge for the recital, but good will donations will be accepted to help fund Josh’s summer mission trip with ASP.
